In Atlanta, a city hailed for its countless output of stars, each seemingly dubbed “the next big thing,” there’s no shortage of DIY rap up-and-comers. When it comes to the hip-hop hotbed, much of the conversation revolves around artists such as iLoveMakonnen, The Migos, and Young Thug. Though one of the cities more underrated MCs, an artist known as MONDAII, is quickly emerging from the confines of the city’s indie hipster hubs, into more buzz worthy terrain.
Not quite fitting the ATL foundational sound of trap hits and strip club anthems, MONDAII chooses to take a different approach to the music scene. The self-proclaimed influential-introvert uses his experience of college life, peer pressure, low-self esteem, and the consumption of recreational drugs to embody an electric sound of timeless nostalgia.
As an amazing talent, this socially awkward introvert sets no limit for himself, ensuring that no one will ever forget the name MONDAII.
